Hit or Miss, April 2015

Here’s what I was reading and viewing in March

Hits

  • The Road (Cormac McCarthy)
  • Mockingjay (Suzanne Collins)
  • Wild Grass (Lu Xun)
  • Remarkable Creatures (Tracy Chevalier)
  • Onkalo (Bernice Chauly)
  • Comedy in a Minor Key (Hans Keilson)
  • Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World (Jack Weatherford)
  • Digital Fortress (Dan Brown)
  • The End of Eternity (Isaac Asimov)

Misses

  • The Private Papers of Eastern Jewel (Maureen Lindley)

Neither Hit nor Miss

  • none

I think the read of the month for me was Wild Grass.

  1. So, I finally started reading an actual novel. And it’s not even SF: Gone Girl. I’m enjoying it so far! Stilling slogging away at the 5th installment of The Song of Ice and Fire (George RR Martin), which I read out loud to my husband before bed. I really can’t wait for it to be over. It’s actually been good, but I’m getting tired of GRRM’s style and various other things that come from spending too much time with any one thing. As for viewing, we just started Daredevil, which is really quite great!
